Uttarakhand News: Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami announced the implementation of drinking water, tourism, irrigation schemes run in the state and NCC in Pauri Garhwal. Financial approval of ₹ 38 crore has been given for the establishment of the academy.
The Chief Minister has approved financial approval of ₹ 12.83 crore for 5 schemes of the Irrigation Department in Chamoli and Almora districts under NABARD funding and ₹ 15.06 crore for 7 other schemes of the Irrigation Department.
Along with giving financial approval of ₹ 3.98 crore for the installation of 50 hand pumps and 31 solar panels at various places in Champawat district, the Chief Minister also gave financial approval of ₹ 4.96 crore for the upgradation work of tourist accommodation house, Mukteshwar in Nainital district, as well as NCC in Pauri district. Financial approval of ₹ 1 crore has been approved as the first installment against the revised estimate of ₹ 50.00 crore for the establishment of the academy.
Chief Minister approved the increase in the rates of dearness relief for civil and family pensioners of the state government.
According to the recommendations of the Fifth and Sixth Central Pay Commission of the State Government, the Chief Minister has given approval to increase the rates of dearness relief for civil and family pensioners who are receiving pension in the applicable pay band and grade pay, from January 1, 2026, increasing the dearness relief for fifth pay scale pensioners from 474 percent to 484 percent and for sixth pay scale pensioners from 257 percent to 262 percent per month.
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is committed to the all-round development of the state, strengthening the infrastructure, promoting tourism and the interests of farmers. He has also instructed the officials to ensure quality and timely implementation of all the approved schemes.
