Sharada Corridor Development Project: CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Reviews ₹3300 Crore Plan in Champawat | Uttarakhand News: Sharda Corridor Development Project: Chief Minister Dhami held a review meeting in Champawat. News Track in Hindi

Uttarakhand News: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a detailed review meeting of “Sharda Corridor Development Project” at the camp office at Khatima Lohiahead. In the meeting, the Chief Minister directed the officials that all the work of the project should be done in accordance with the expectations of the public and local beliefs. The aim of the Sharda Corridor Development Project is the overall development of about 200 square kilometers area. Under the project, emphasis has been laid on making the area strong and attractive from religious, cultural, tourism and environmental points of view.

The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of 38 major works proposed under the project. These include:

Redevelopment of Sharda Ghat

City Drainage Plan-1

Revival of Rankochi Mata Temple

Development of Banbasa Heliport

Chuka to Chalthi mountain bike trail construction

Development of Banbasa International Border Market

Beautification of Shraddha Path river bank

Sharda Riverfront Master Plan

Construction of aero sports facilities

The Chief Minister directed the officials to complete the land acquisition and transfer works quickly and on priority and to complete all the construction works in a timely, quality and transparent manner. He also said that environmental protection should be a top priority and construction work should be in keeping with the traditional culture and architectural style of the area. Apart from this, the Chief Minister also shared plans to develop Lohaghat Vivekananda Circuit and develop Maa Varahi Dham as a Spiritual Zone in the future. He also directed to make the area a destination wedding hub and develop “Shaurya Sthal” in honor of the brave martyrs of the army, police and paramilitary forces.

The Chief Minister said that this project will improve the tourism and experience of devotees while preserving the spiritual, cultural and historical identity of Tanakpur. Apart from this, it will also become a medium for local employment promotion and improvement in the standard of living of the people. A total investment of about ₹ 3300 crore is proposed in this project and the construction work is being started rapidly. District Magistrate Champawat Manish Kumar, District Magistrate Udham Singh Nagar Nitin Singh Bhadauria, Additional District Magistrate Champawat Krishna Nath Goswami, Chief Development Officer Dr. G. were present in the meeting. S. Khati along with other senior officials and common people were also present.
