Kedarnath accident: One person died, while another was seriously injured after a stone suddenly fell from a hill near the Hanuman temple located near Sonprayag on the Kedarnath Yatra route. According to the information, the dead and injured include a person of Nepali origin and a local person.

Big stones suddenly started falling

According to eyewitnesses, suddenly big stones started falling from the hill, due to which there was a panic among the people present there. During this time two people got hit by stones. In the accident, one person died on the spot, while the other was badly injured.

Relief teams reached the spot

According to the information, among the deceased and injured, one person is said to be of Nepali origin, while the other is a local resident. As soon as information about the incident was received, police, administration and relief teams immediately reached the spot and rescue operations were started. The injured person has been admitted to a nearby hospital after first aid, where his condition remains critical.
