Bihar Elections: The political battle has intensified after the Grand Alliance declared Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav as the Chief Minister and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahni as the Deputy Chief Minister candidate for the Bihar Assembly elections. Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief and Union Minister Chirag Paswan has made a big attack on the Grand Alliance regarding this announcement.

Allegation of ‘blackmail and pressure’

While talking to the media in Patna, Chirag Paswan alleged that this announcement was made under pressure. He said, “If you accepted the face of the CM after fighting so much, pleading so much, showing fear at some places, putting pressure on others, then what did you accept?” He clearly said that there is no natural acceptance in the Grand Alliance in the name of Tejashwi’s CM face. Chirag alleged that these people blackmailed Congress people to become the face of CM and Mukesh Sahni also made all the agreements for the post of Deputy Chief Minister. He said that if someone becomes a leader after doing so much, it means that there is no natural acceptance of his face.

Arrogance and leadership of NDA in Grand Alliance

Chirag Paswan also raised questions on the absence of photographs of the leaders in the press conference of the Grand Alliance. He said, “I am surprised that the grand alliance removed all the other faces to put one face in front.” Taking a jibe at Congress, he said that how was it accepted that there were no photographs of any of their leaders in the press conference? He even said that when it was not considered necessary to put the picture of RJD National President Lalu Yadav in that press conference, it shows arrogance.

NDA leadership

Chirag Paswan, while giving clarification on the Chief Minister face of NDA, said that NDA is contesting the elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. He said that the dignity of democracy says that after the elections on November 14, NDA MLAs will once again elect Nitish Kumar as the leader and he will be sworn in as the Chief Minister.
