No accused will be spared
Let us tell you that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has adopted a strict attitude from the beginning in the matter of cheating and paper leaks during UKSSSC examination. He had said in a statement that no accused involved in the case would be spared. Strict action will be taken against him. Chief Minister Dhami, while meeting the students protesting against the paper leak, had also announced a CBI inquiry into the matter.
The case of alleged leak of question paper of graduate level examination of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) came to light on September 21 from Adarsh Bal Inter College, Haridwar. The main accused Khalid Malik and his sister Sabia were arrested in the case.
According to the police, Khalid took a photo of the question paper from the examination center located in Bahadurpur Jat village of Haridwar and sent it to his sister Sabia. Sabia forwarded these questions to Suman, an assistant professor at Tehri, who solved the answers and made them available to the candidates. Suman shared the information about these screenshots with another person. That person did not give it directly to the police or any competent authority, but uploaded it on social media. Due to this the question paper spread rapidly.
At that time Suman was an assistant professor at Agroda College, Tehri. He was suspended after investigation. Uttarakhand administration suspended Sector Magistrate KN Tiwari posted in Haridwar with immediate effect. Earlier, an inspector and a constable posted on duty at the exam center located at Bahadurpur Jatt had been suspended.
