Uttarakhand News: Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan discussed various points with the District Magistrates at the Secretariat on Tuesday through video conferencing and gave important guidelines. The Chief Secretary described the works related to Agri Stack in the state as very important for the farmers of the state. He said that there is a need to take special steps in Dehradun, Bageshwar, Nainital and Haridwar districts in the work of determining the share in the state. He said that all the District Magistrates will have to work proactively.

The Chief Secretary said that the work of distribution of fertilizers will also be done on the basis of farmer registration. He directed that the focus should be on increasing the daily progress by continuously monitoring so that the registration work of farmers can be completed. He directed to organize a camp for this and complete the work of farmer registration as soon as possible. He said that due to non-completion of farmer registration work, distribution of PM Kisan and fertilizers may get stuck.

The Chief Secretary has also given instructions to speed up the work of digital crop survey in the state. In view of the shortage of survey personnel, he also talked about involving students from higher educational institutions including self-help groups and Yuva Mangal Dals. He said that this work can be done by providing necessary training for digital crop survey.

The Chief Secretary also talked about making farmers aware to speed up all the works related to Agri Stack. With this, young Aapda Mitras can take training. He said that Agri Stack is very important, if all these works are not completed on time, farmers may stop getting the benefits of many schemes of the Government of India.

On this occasion, Principal Secretary R. Of. Sudhanshu, Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, Nitesh Kumar Jha, Dr. V. Shanmugam, Special Secretary Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate, S. N. Pandey and Ranjana Rajguru and other senior officers were present.
