Russian tank ‘Bhishma’ Indianized
Defense sector experts believe that since the year 2001 when T-90 tanks were brought to India in collaboration with Russia, till today the country’s public sector undertaking IOL has played a huge and historic role in their indigenization. This prestigious institute not only provided the T-90 tanks with a highly robust and accurate fire control system, but also equipped them with excellent vision technology like the TKN-4S. With the help of these cameras, even a single soldier sitting safely inside the tank can clearly see every movement up to a distance of ten kilometers. This technology helps the soldier to aim accurately at the enemy while sitting inside. In any emergency situation, these special cameras accurately identify the enemy in a very short time of just three seconds and alert the soldier to attack immediately.

These cameras prove to be the biggest help for the soldiers in the silence of the night because they are fully capable of increasing the night vision ability by 20 thousand times.
