Uttarakhand News: Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi reached his residence in Mussoorie, where he wished Diwali to hundreds of Bharatiya Janata Party workers and supporters. On this occasion, he also discussed in detail the achievements and development plans of BJP’s “Triple Engine Government” in the state.
Triple engine government claims
Minister Joshi said that the people of Uttarakhand have felt the strength of the BJP government at all three levels – central, state and local bodies. He claimed that as a result of these coordinated efforts, work is being done in every sector of the state, be it roads, health services, education level or tourism sector. Joshi mentioned that the schemes in these areas did not remain just plans but were implemented.
Praising the work of local representatives
Praising Mussoorie Municipality President Meera Saklani, the Minister said that the public representatives at the local level are working with full dedication. He particularly mentioned the concrete plans being drawn up towards developing Mussoorie as a smart, clean and well-maintained hill station. In this context, it was said that facilities are being expanded in tourism blocks and mainstream traffic and residential development are also being diverted in an environment-friendly direction.
Natural disaster and relief work
Regarding the recent natural disaster in various areas of the state, the Minister said that the government had immediately started relief and rescue operations in the affected districts. He said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself reached the affected areas and all possible help was immediately provided to the needy. “Our government has not shown any laxity in the rehabilitation and compensation of disaster-affected families,” he said. Joshi also said that “the Chief Minister works on the ground, does not do politics of social media or rhetoric.”
Targeting the opposition and preparing for the upcoming elections
Minister Joshi made a sharp attack on the opposition party Congress and said that they no longer have any concrete issue left. He professionally said that “their credibility among the public has ended”, hence now the opposition is only doing politics of allegations and counter-allegations. Joshi assured that BJP will get a huge majority in the 2027 assembly elections and the people will once again choose the politics of development.
Employment, examination-leaks and youth centric policy
On questions related to employment, the Minister said that recently appointment letters have been provided to 25 thousand youth. He said that Chief Minister Dhami is very serious about the future of the youth. Strict action has been taken in the state against paper leaks and examination copying mafia. For example, as soon as a complaint of leak was received in the UKSSSC Triple SC exam, the exam was canceled and a CBI inquiry was also recommended. Joshi called it “an example of our transparent and youth-centric governance”.
