Dehradun. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the famous Chardham Yatra of Uttarakhand is moving towards creating a new record this year. Within 25 days, the number of visitors has crossed the figure of 12 lakh 60 thousand. There is huge enthusiasm among the devotees regarding Kedarnath Yatra. In just 22 days, more than 5 lakh 23 thousand pilgrims have paid obeisance at Kedarnath Dham. Due to the trip to the high Himalayan region, the state government is keeping a close watch on the weather patterns here. Chief Minister Dhami has instructed the top officials to take full care of the safety and convenience of every devotee in case of adverse weather.
Tremendous joy of faith and belief is being seen in all the four Dhams. The Yatra was inaugurated on 19th April and till today 13th May, 12 lakh 60 thousand 478 devotees have visited Chardham. Of these, 5,23,582 pilgrims have reached Kedarnath, 3,24,081 in Badrinath, 2,05,425 in Gangotri and 2,07,390 have reached Yamunotri Dham. Today on Wednesday, 80 thousand 401 devotees visited all the four Dhams. Maximum 32,423 pilgrims reached Kedarnath. While 21,260 devotees visited Badrinath, 13,403 in Yamunotri and 13,315 in Gangotri Dham.
Despite the difficult journey to Kedarnath Dham, the number of devotees here is continuously creating new records. There is huge enthusiasm among the pilgrims for Kedar Yatra due to the reconstruction of Kedarnath Dham under the dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and making the journey safe, easy and convenient under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
If we look at the official figures of the last four years (from the year 2022 to 2025), 69 lakh 45 thousand 487 devotees have come to visit Kedarnath Dham. Of these, 15,64,248 pilgrims have arrived in 2022, 19,58,863 in 2023, 16,53,581 in 2024 and 17,68,795 in 2025.
