The journey of Maithili Thakur’s music has not been easy. His two brothers, Rishabh and Ayachi, also collaborate with him in music. He took music lessons from both his father and grandfather and started training in classical and Maithili folk music from a young age. Interestingly, he was disappointed in many reality shows in his initial phase. His voice was rejected in the music reality shows ‘Saregamapa Little Champs’ and ‘Indian Idol Junior’. But he did not give up. In 2017, she won the title of first runner-up in the show ‘The Rising Star’ when she was only studying in 11th grade. After this he did not look back.
