Given the relations between the two countries, there is confusion over the Indian cricket team’s visit to Pakistan. There has been no statement from the BCCI in this regard so far. In such a situation, there is very little possibility that the Indian team will go to Pakistan to participate in the tournament. Meanwhile, a former Pakistani cricketer has made a special appeal to the Indian team and requested them to come to Pakistan to participate in the tournament.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has clearly stated in the draft sent to the ICC that if the Indian team comes to Pakistan, then due to security reasons, all its matches will be held in Lahore only. Along with this, the PCB has also left the decision to convince the Indian team to go to Pakistan to the ICC. On the other hand, the chances of the Indian team going to Pakistan are very less, in such a situation it is possible that the Indian team may not participate in the Champions Trophy. But even if the Indian team participates in the tournament, then it is also possible that India’s matches may not be held in Pakistan but in Sri Lanka or UAE.
