Former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal is in the news again. This time it is about the theft of his goat. Before Bakrid, they have suffered a lot. His family had brought 6 goats to sacrifice on Bakrid. One of the goats has been stolen. Stolen goat is said to be very expensive. Let us inform that at the end of last month (on 27 June 2022), Kamran Akmal shared a picture on Twitter and informed that his father is very ill. Kamran Akmal appealed to the fans to pray for his father.
However, Kamran then came under the target of the people. Actually, in another tweet made 5 hours before that tweet, he shared some pictures. In the caption of those pictures, Kamran Akmal wrote, Good morning everyone from Thailand. In that picture, Kamran could be seen having fun with former Pakistan spinner Saeed Ajmal, cricketers Imad Wasim and Azam Khan. Only after that people started trolling him.
According to Pakistani website The Nation, the incident of goat theft is on the night of Thursday 7 July 2022. Goat was stolen from outside Kamran Akmal’s house in a private housing society in Lahore. According to Kamran Akmal’s father, he had bought 6 goats to be sacrificed on Eid ul-Azha (Bakrid). He had tied all the goats outside his house in Lahore.

Describing the incident, he said, ‘The theft must have happened around 3 am. I had assigned the responsibility of looking after the goats to my servant, but he fell asleep around 3 in the morning, only after that the goat was stolen.
“The stolen goat was bought for Rs 90,000,” he said. The housing society’s security agency has assured Kamran Akmal’s family that the goat will be recovered and the culprits will be apprehended. Former wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal has represented Pakistan in 53 Tests, 157 ODIs and 58 T20 Internationals.
