Shikhar Dhawan, Sourav Ganguly and Pakistan’s Saeed Anwar had to play 108, 144 and 143 innings respectively to complete their 15 ODI centuries. Babar Azam became the second batsman in the world and the first in Asia to score 4000 runs in the shortest innings in the first ODI of the series.
He broke Virat Kohli’s record. Babar Azam completed his 4000 ODI runs in the 82nd innings, while Virat Kohli had to play 93 innings to achieve this feat.
