Adani Group will invest $100 billion to support India's AI growth: Jeet Adani

Visakhapatnam, April 28 (IANS). Adani Group Director Jeet Adani said on Tuesday that it is very important to create infrastructure in the country to keep India ahead in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and with an investment commitment of $ 100 billion, we are developing a platform that will support India’s AI growth story.

During his address at the foundation stone program of Google AI Data Center, Jeet Adani said that we are building an integrated platform, which includes energy production, transmission, digital networks and data centers.

He said in the address, “Our role is to create an ecosystem on which AI can depend. The future of AI will be decided by infrastructure and energy.

Jeet Adani further said that to bring change in the society, it is necessary for AI to be affordable and this will be possible only with cheap energy.

Google will invest $15 billion in the AI data center to be built in Visakhapatnam. This is the largest foreign direct investment ever in India.

Jeet Adani further said that energy efficiency and widespread use will determine how quickly AI can move from the experimental stage to widespread use.

He said, “As the cost of computing goes down, so does the cost of AI. When AI becomes more accessible, its reach will increase. Innovation will accelerate.”

According to Jeet Adani, India is building an infrastructure that could one day power the world’s digital intelligence, and the massive $15 billion AI data center complex being built by Adani Group and Google Cloud – the largest outside the United States – is an important initiative.

Developed with leading partners like AdaniConnex, this state-of-the-art infrastructure complex will power products like Google’s Search, Workspace and YouTube.
