Apple CEO Succession Plan: Who will become the next CEO after Tim Cook? The company started the succession process

Apple has intensified preparations for its new leader. Tim Cook wants to reduce his workload and has informed the company about his intentions. The company has now intensified internal talks regarding the new CEO. According to reports, Apple may not announce the name of the new CEO immediately, but after Cook’s statement, the company’s board has come into action. Cook has been Apple’s CEO since 2011 and has said he is feeling tired and wants to reduce his workload.

Will Cook leave the company?

When Cook took over the company after Steve Jobs, Apple’s valuation was $350 billion, which has now increased to $4 trillion. Now he is 65 years old and wants to distance himself from the day-to-day work of the company. There are reports that even after leaving the post of CEO, Cook will remain with the company and may hold the post of Chairman of the Board.

Who will be the new boss of Apple?

As Cook’s successor, John Ternes, senior vice president of hardware engineering at Apple, is considered a strong contender. Ternes has been associated with Apple for nearly 24 years. Like Cook, Ternes is also considered calm and has deep knowledge of Apple’s manufacturing and supply chain operations in Asia, and his tenure has been free of controversy. Ternes has been involved in many important decisions of the company and is considered a confidant of Cook. Apart from Turnus, software chief Craig Federighi, services head Eddie Cue, marketing chief Greg Joswiak and retail head Deirdre O’Brien are also in the race, but Turnus’ name is the frontrunner.
