Big convenience: Delivery Tracking feature added to Google Wallet, now you will get real-time updates on every movement of the parcel.

Google initially launched Google Wallet as a digital payment app, but now it is not limited to that only. Google has introduced a new feature that will allow users to easily track their online orders directly in the app. Users will soon be able to track orders placed online directly through Google Wallet; The app will provide this facility using the order receipts in your email.

**Information on home screen**

According to reports, if any of your parcels is going to arrive soon, then all the information related to it will be visible on the home page of Google Wallet. With just one tap, you’ll be able to see everything from the exact location of the parcel to its current delivery status. Once the delivery is complete, this information will automatically be removed from the home page.

**No effect on Gmail**

Google has clarified that turning on package tracking in Wallet will not affect the emails in your Gmail account. This feature is limited to providing you updates only by taking information from receipts associated with the parcel; This will not affect any of your other emails.

**No need for separate delivery app**

With this new feature, users will not need to visit external websites or use specific delivery apps to track their parcels; They will be able to do everything directly in Google Wallet. Google will automatically track parcels using receipts found in Gmail and show the information in the Wallet app.

**Indian users will have to wait**
It is worth noting that currently this feature is being tested only in America. Indian users may have to wait for some time for its release. According to Google, while the feature supports email formats from most major retailers, it may take some time to add compatibility with smaller online stores.
