Lenovo is all set to hold a big launch event in China this May, where it is expected to introduce several new products including smartphones, laptops and tablets. Lenovo sets May launch date for new Legion devices
Through a series of teasers on Weibo, Lenovo has announced that it will hold a launch event in China on May 19. The event is named ‘Lenovo Tianxi AI All-in-One Multi-Device All-Scenario New Product Super Night’ (translated from Chinese). Many new devices are going to be launched in this event, including Lenovo Legion Y900 AI, Legion Y7000X tablet and Legion Y70 smartphone.
A teaser video shared by the brand also confirms the arrival of Lenovo Yoga Air 14 Ultra and Legion Y7000X laptops. With the Legion Y70, the Chinese tech brand is making a comeback in the smartphone arena after a gap of almost four years; Its previous model was launched in 2022. The official poster reveals that the Legion Y900 AI tablet will be available in two display options: 11-inch and 13-inch.
The teaser video also hints that Motorola Razr Fold may also be introduced during this event. However, the release date for this foldable device on Lenovo’s official website is listed as May 31st. This suggests that the device may only be showcased during the launch event, while its sale will begin from May 31. The company has already started pre-booking for this foldable device in China through its official website.
Motorola Razr Fold is listed in Pearl White and Gentleman Black (translated from Chinese) color options. The device will be available in a single configuration, featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This handset was first shown at MWC 2026. It has a 6.6-inch cover display and 8.1-inch inner display. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, it sports a triple rear camera setup, the main sensor of which is a 50-megapixel, 1/1.28-inch Sony Lytia sensor. It has a 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
