Facebook’s parent company Meta has launched its second-generation Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses in India. The new model has better video capability, better battery performance and upgraded AI features compared to the Gen 1 model. The glasses include cameras, speakers, and in the future, UPI Lite. Once this feature is integrated, payments can be made using Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. Users simply need to wear the smart glasses, view a QR code, and then say “Hey Meta, scan and pay.” Payment will be processed.
Banks must be connected to WhatsApp UPI
To make payments using Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, users need to link their bank account with their WhatsApp UPI account. More details about this feature will be shared in the coming days.

Hindi support added to Meta AI
Understanding the needs of the Indian market, the company has included complete Hindi support. This way, users will be able to easily command Meta AI in Hindi and control its features.
Celebrity AI Voice Integration
Meta AI recently introduced the Celebrity AI Voice feature, allowing users to interact with the voices of local celebrities. In India, users will be able to interact with Deepika Padukone’s voice.
