Mukesh Ambani’s company, Reliance Jio, introduced its new AI-powered device, ‘Jio TeleFrame’ at the RIL AGM 2026. The company describes it as a central hub for AI agents present in the home, which can handle multiple tasks from a single interface. This voice-first system helps users by understanding their needs, habits and preferences. Along with this, Jio announced major upgrades to its home connectivity plans and AirFiber service. Come, let us know in detail about Jio Teleframe…
**Manage multiple AI agents from a single device**
Jio Teleframe is designed as a voice-first AI hardware system. According to the company, users will not need to open different apps for different tasks; This device allows interaction with multiple AI agents through a single interface. Jio says that these agents can handle tasks like entertainment, shopping, guest management and smart home control. Teleframe learns the household’s routines, preferences and needs and provides assistance only when the user approves. The company also claims that this system will support Indian languages.
**Help in household chores**
During the demo, Jio showed several uses of Teleframe. The company said it can remind family members about important things like doctor’s appointments and even give advice based on weather information like carrying an umbrella. In another example, Jio showed how a ‘guest planning agent’ can help with preparations for a festival lunch; It can create shopping lists, suggest food options based on past preferences and track delivery status. The company says that its aim is to make everyday tasks easier and better manageable.
**Big upgrade: from entertainment to internet speed**
According to Jio, Teleframe’s entertainment agent can launch streaming apps, control lighting and volume, and even track live scores of sports events. The company has also introduced a new multi-frame viewing feature for JioHotstar, which allows users to watch four different streams simultaneously, such as cricket matches, TV shows and live news channels. Apart from this, there is also going to be a big upgrade in the speed of Jio Home. The company claims that its next generation AirFiber service will provide download speeds of up to 5Gbps and upload speeds of up to 1Gbps, which will provide better performance in cloud gaming, video calling, streaming and other high-bandwidth tasks.
