Mumbai, July 22 (IANS). Greenline Mobility Solutions Limited, an Essar Group company and the country’s only green logistics operator of LNG and electric heavy commercial trucks, on Wednesday announced its partnership with Dabur India Limited, one of India’s leading FMCG companies, to make Dabur India’s road transport-based supply chain more eco-friendly and reduce carbon emissions through LNG powered trucks.
Under this partnership, Greenline will deploy its LNG-powered trucks in Dabur India’s logistics network, strengthening the company’s ongoing initiatives towards developing a green and sustainable supply chain. Adoption of LNG based transportation will reduce carbon emissions during long distance freight transportation, while maintaining operational efficiency and reliability.
This collaboration is an indication that large Indian companies are increasingly adopting low-emission freight transportation solutions as part of their decarbonization strategy and moving towards sustainable supply chains.

Greenline is promoting low-emission road freight transport in India through heavy commercial trucks powered by LNG and electric. The company currently has over 1,000 vehicles serving various sectors such as steel, cement, mining, FMCG and chemicals on major freight corridors of the country. The company’s fleet has covered more than 100 million kilometers so far and has helped customers reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 27,000 tonnes.
