New Delhi, 24 September (IANS). In the coming time, generative AI (GenAI) will also see the way of car shopping for people. According to a report on Wednesday, by 2030, more than 40-50 million car purchases will be seen to have a direct impact on the worldwide basis.
Data collected in partnership by Boston Consulting Group (BCG) with OpenAI suggests that the carmaker who will include JenAI in customer experience as soon as possible, their sales may increase by 20 percent by 2030.
According to the study of ‘Will AI Bikam the Best Car Sales Advisor’ title, Kyagi customers will turn to companies giving better and AI-Drivan Experience. In such a situation, companies that will lag behind in adopting this changing trend may lose up to 15 percent revenue.
India leader, Natarajan Shankar, for automotive and industrial goods practice in BCG, said that JaneA will not only increase sales but also maintain customers’ confidence by making more transparent, easy and personged to buy cars.
He said that the pace of adopting it in rapidly growing markets like Asia will decide which automaker will be ahead in the race.
The report states that JenAI Assistant Neutral will serve as a brand-independent advisor.
AI will be seen helping customers to configure vehicle, compare the finance option and even schedule test drives.
This change can weaken the traditional brand loyalty, as customers will pay more attention to practical factors such as the range, price and lifestyle emissions of the electric vehicle instead of the brand image.
The report suggested that the automakers can stay ahead in the race by creating their own branded AI Assistant to ensure their visibility on the AI-Powered platform, collaborate with multi-brand marketplace and provide hyper-parsonalized shopping experience.
