Increase in H-1B visa fees will be very low on Indian IT companies: report

एच-1बी वीजा फीस में बढ़ोतरी का भारतीय आईटी कंपनियों पर बहुत कम होगा असर : रिपोर्ट

New Delhi, 23 September (IANS). In view of increasing dependence on H-1B visas of Indian IT service companies due to increasing localization and offshoreing in the last 10 years, its impact on companies is expected to be limited. This information was given in a report on Tuesday.

The report of Franklin Templeton states that its effect may be seen in the middle period. Increased cost of delivery in the US may be forced to re -review their operating models and adopt a rescue strategy.

This effect may vary with the company’s expansion in the US, onsite workforce mix and dependence on non-Lokl talent.

The report said, “Because H-1B lottery and petitions are usually in Q4-Q1, it is likely to show its effect in FY 27 Petition Cycles. In response, in response to this, intensifying the offshoreing of service providers, expanding constant operations in Canada and Mexico, expanding the constant operations in Canada and Mexico, expanding the operations in Europe and APAC for geographical diversity and investing in AIP hopefully.”

These changes can make the Global Capability Center attractive to talent in India, especially when onsite opportunities are decreasing and customers are demanding better rates and efficiency.

India’s equity market may have some instability in the near period, but overall assessment is still higher than the historical average.

The assessment of the IT sector has decreased in the last 6-12 months due to the Week Demand Outlook.

Due to improvement in domestic consumption and increase in private sector capital expenditure, the total corporate income outlook in the Indian market is getting better.

According to the report, American tariffs create short -term challenges for exports on export, yet India’s macroeconmic base remains strong.

The report said that in the second half of 2025, a possible trade agreement with the US, strong domestic demand and improvement in earnings can create a positive atmosphere in the coming months.
