New Delhi, February 17 (IANS). Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar on Tuesday attended the ongoing India AI Impact Summit and Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. During this, he expressed pride in India’s strength in the AI ​​field.

Actress Bhumi Pednekar, while talking to news agency IANS, expressed her happiness over the organization of India AI Impact Summit 2026. She said, “I am very happy to be here. I will go for a session soon and will be back with all of you. I am very proud to be an Indian for the AI ​​Summit.”

Bhumi described this summit as a big platform for India’s technological progress and said that the right use of AI can reach every section of the society. She attended the summit to discuss the social impact and responsible use of AI.

At the summit, Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, CEO of Karnataka Digital Economy Mission, also highlighted the potential of AI. “I think the AI ​​Impact Summit is showcasing the true strength of India’s capability in AI and obviously the state of Karnataka comes here as a leading state in showcasing its AI capability,” he said.

He said, “We have come here to take care of three different things. First, how AI can play a meaningful role in e-governance, for which many steps are being taken. Second, the field of startups, in which AI can play an important role in entrepreneurship and innovation. Whereas, the third step is to create a complete ecosystem of AI, for which delegations from many countries are coming. Many meetings are being held.”

Karnataka has prominently showcased its AI initiatives at the summit. With Bengaluru being called the AI ​​hub of India, the state has showcased several projects using AI in e-governance, healthcare, agriculture and startup ecosystem. Sanjeev Gupta said that Karnataka is focusing on AI skill development, ethical AI guidelines and global partnership.

The summit includes representatives from over 30 countries, over 300 exhibitors and global AI leaders. In this event inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasis is being laid on shaping AI for humanity, inclusive development and sustainable future.
