On the occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day, government telecom company BSNL has launched a new prepaid recharge plan for its customers. The name of this special plan is BSNL Bharat Connect 26. This is a long-validity plan which the company has made available for a limited time.

BSNL shared information about this Republic Day special recharge plan through its official X (earlier Twitter) account. The company says that this plan has been designed for those users who want to get rid of the hassle of recharging throughout the year at a low cost.
BSNL Bharat Connect 26 Plan
The price of BSNL’s new Bharat Connect 26 plan is Rs 2,626. The special thing is that while most of the telecom companies provide 2.5GB data per day in their annual plan, BSNL is giving 2.6GB data per day with this plan. Users also get unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day. In terms of daily data, this plan is slightly better than similar plans from other companies.
How long will this plan be available?
According to BSNL, Bharat Connect 26 plan will be available only from January 24 to February 24, 2026. This means customers have about a month to take advantage of this special offer. This plan can be closed after the stipulated time.
BSNL’s second 365 day plan
With the launch of Bharat Connect 26 plan, BSNL now has a total of three prepaid plans with a validity of 365 days. People looking for long-term recharge options now have more options.
Jio annual plan
Jio has two annual plans priced at Rs 3,999 and Rs 3,599. The Rs 3,999 plan offers unlimited 5G + 2.5GB daily data, 100 SMS per day, unlimited calling and 365 days validity. Along with this, three months subscription of FanCode and JioHotstar and 18 months subscription of Google Gemini Pro are being given for free. The ₹3,599 plan offers all the benefits except FanCode subscription.
