The minister said that MSMEs contribute a lot to the country’s economy.

He said, “MSMEs underpin prosperity and after agriculture, this sector contributes the most to economic growth. Their role is very important and decisive.” He was interacting with MSME beneficiaries invited to witness the Republic Day Parade 2026.

On this occasion, 100 beneficiaries of PM Vishwakarma Yojana, 199 artisans trained under Khadi Vikas Yojana, 50 beneficiaries of SRI Fund and 50 best women artisans of Mahila Coir Scheme along with their spouses were invited as special guests by the Ministry of Defence.

She said, “You all have come from different walks of life, but we are all one. I thank the Prime Minister, under whose leadership you have got this opportunity. Many government schemes are being made so that all of you can get the benefits. Constant efforts are being made to take you forward through training and skill development.”
