New AI feature in YouTube: How to make full video from Shorts, know step by step process

If you are a content creator, YouTube is about to bring a very useful feature. According to reports, the company will bring AI-powered Remix feature, which will make it easier to create new videos from Shorts. Currently it is being tested with English language creators. This feature will be provided in the “Remix” menu in Shorts, allowing users to make visual changes by prompting instead of editing manually.

These two tools will be available in the feature
This feature will have two new tools: “Add Object” and “Reimagine.” Add Object lets users insert AI-generated items into any scene taken from Shorts. YouTube says the feature will work on clips up to 8 seconds long, allowing creators to add visual twists to their videos without the help of third-party apps.

The second tool will be Reimagine, which will turn a single frame from Shorts into an entirely new AI-generated video. To use it, users will get suggested prompts, and if they want, they can write their own prompts and create a video. Users will also have the option to upload two photos for reference. This tool will be useful for those creators who want to create new content from a short scene.

Videos will be linked to the original shorts

All videos created using this feature will be linked to the original shorts, identifying the source creator. If a creator wants to prevent remixed videos from being created using their Shorts, they can disable the standard remixing option on their content. This feature is currently being tested. If it is successful, it can be rolled out for creators of languages other than English as well.
