New Delhi, November 15 (IANS). According to information given by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on Saturday, NICDC Logistics Data Services Limited (NLDSL) and the Government of Andhra Pradesh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to digitalize the logistics landscape in Andhra Pradesh by leveraging the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP).
The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the 30th CII Partnership Summit held in Visakhapatnam by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Done in the presence of Chandrababu Naidu.
Under this initiative, a strong integrated digital platform will be created. The platform will provide real-time visibility to the government as well as private stakeholders in Andhra Pradesh over the state’s logistics operations and performance metrics. The platform aims to promote coordination, improve efficiency and support informed decision-making across sectors, with stakeholders able to access real-time information.
This MOU represents a significant achievement in integrating advanced technological solutions into logistics development. Additionally, this MoU contributes to strengthening India’s position as a global leader in efficient, modern and robust supply chain infrastructure.
Government of Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with NLDSL through INCAP will create an Integrated Logistics Dashboard for almost all State Departments to monitor Logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The analytical insights and executable reports generated from this dashboard will be used to upgrade and strengthen the logistics ecosystem of the state by leveraging the capabilities of ULIPs.
ULIP is a digital gateway that allows industry stakeholders to access logistics-related data sets from different government systems through API based integration.
This partnership is a decisive step towards creating world-class logistics infrastructure under the National Logistics Policy (NLP).
