Google has announced the launch of a new AI training program designed for teachers and students across the country. The company will focus on embedding AI tools and digital learning in schools and higher education institutions to ensure that students and teachers are well prepared for an AI-based future.

The special thing is that under this initiative, the company has announced the launch of “Google AI Educator Series”. It will be a mobile-first training program specifically designed to meet the needs of Indian teachers. This initiative will be launched in collaboration with the governments of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Assam as well as the Union Territory Ladakh and Punjab school education boards.
The main objective of this training is to show teachers how AI tools can be used effectively in the classroom – in particular, how they can be used to make learning easier and more interactive. Giving more information about this program, Google said that this training has been made mobile-friendly, so that teachers can easily access and complete these modules from anywhere. Initially, the program will be available in six Indian languages, including Hindi, Assamese, Marathi, Telugu, Odia and Punjabi.
Training in three stages
The Google AI Educator series is divided into different modules. In the first phase, teachers will be introduced to the basic principles of AI. The second phase will focus on how Gemini AI tools can be used to improve learning and increase student engagement. The third phase will explain the practical uses of AI, such as how to use the technology to grade assignments, provide feedback, and generate reports.
