Handset manufacturing companies are now focusing more on making smartphones with larger batteries; Phones with 6000mAh batteries were common in the past, but recently the introduction of the Honor X80 Pro Max has taken a big step in this direction. Launched with an 11,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, this phone was claimed to provide up to 42 days of standby time on a single charge. Now, a new leak has revealed that the company is working on another device – which will have a massive 14,000mAh battery, making it the phone with the biggest battery ever. If this phone launches, people who always carry power banks will finally be able to leave them at home.
Honor phone with 14,000mAh battery
Tipster ‘Digital Chat Station’ has shared a post on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, which reveals that the company is preparing to launch a smartphone with a massive 14,000mAh battery. Although the tipster did not explicitly name the manufacturer, the post included an emoji related to Honor, which suggests that the brand could be behind the phone with a larger battery capacity.
The tipster says that the weight of this mysterious phone will be around 220 grams. If this is true, it will be slightly heavier than the Honor X80 Pro Max, which weighs 203 grams. It is being said that this smartphone is currently in the “new product introduction” phase, which means that its launch is still some time away. With a 14,000mAh battery, this device can set a new benchmark in terms of battery capacity, providing perhaps three to four days of usage on a single charge.
Realme and Poco phones with big batteries
Realme is also focusing on phones with bigger batteries; The company has launched Realme P4 Power 5G with 10,001mAh battery. Apart from this, Poco also has Poco X8 Pro Max, which has a 9,000mAh battery with silicon-carbon technology.
