The wait for OnePlus 15 is about to end, it is being launched in China today. This phone may also come to global markets soon, and there is speculation that it will be launched in other markets including India on November 12. This phone is an upgraded version of OnePlus 13. The OnePlus 15 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display that will support 165Hz refresh rate. This is the first time that the company is providing this kind of refresh rate support in any of its phones. Its rear design will have a square-shaped camera module, similar to the OnePlus 13s model. With a nano-ceramic metal frame, this phone will be launched in a new Sandstorm color.
The processor will be powerful
The OnePlus phone to be launched today will have Snapdragon 8 Elite Generation 5 processor. This variant to be launched in China will run on ColorOS 16, while in India it will run on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. The phone will have a glacier cooling system and vapor chamber to reduce heat during gaming. Glacier supercritical aerogel is expected to be used for thermal insulation.

This phone will come with a triple rear camera setup which will have a 50MP primary lens, 50MP ultra-wide camera and 50MP telephoto lens. The phone will have a powerful 7,300mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
price and competition
The company has not officially announced its price, but it is expected to be between ₹70,000 to ₹75,000. In India, the new phone from OnePlus will compete with the Xiaomi 15. The Xiaomi 15 also features the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This Xiaomi phone has a triple rear camera setup (50MP + 50MP + 50MP). Its price in India is ₹64,999.
