Google has confirmed that they will increase the prices of the upcoming Pixel 11 series phones. Google is all set to introduce the next generation models of Pixel devices at its Made by Google event on August 12.

If you are also planning to buy Google’s new Pixel phones, then this time you will have to keep more budget ready, because the new models will be more expensive than before. Google is all set to introduce the next generation models of Pixel devices at its ‘Made by Google’ event on August 12. Ahead of the event, there is a lot of talk that Google may increase the prices of its flagship devices due to the rising prices of memory chips. Now it is almost confirmed from Google that the prices of Pixel 11 series will be increased.

In an interview with 9to5Google, Google’s vice president of devices and services, Shakeel Barkat, talked about the impact of the “supplier-inflicted critical RAM memory crisis.”

Barkat said that like other consumer technology companies, Google’s costs are also increasing unprecedentedly. “Memory price increases have never been seen as high as the world is seeing right now,” he said.

He cited Morgan Stanley data showing a six-fold increase in memory prices; According to this, the price of 1GB RAM is expected to increase from $2.80 in 2025 to $12 in 2026.

Company will increase the price of Pixel 11 series

Google’s hardware chief said the company has “protected our customers from supply fluctuations as much as we can,” but added that “economic conditions have fundamentally changed, and we are no exception.”

He confirmed that the Pixel 11 series will see a price “adjustment.” However, Barkat did not reveal the exact pricing for the different models that Google may announce at the launch event.

Google also said it is committed to “delivering a premium experience at an affordable price.” Barkat further said that potential buyers can still expect promotions, trade-in offers, and bundled deals like Google One; He called it “an important part of our effort to make the Pixel lineup accessible.”
