PM Modi is a wonderful boon for Indian economy: Mark Mobius

New Delhi, 18 September (IANS). Mark Mobius, one of the world’s legendary investors, on Thursday wishes Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, saying that he was a wonderful boon for the Indian economy.

Prime Minister Modi’s birthday was celebrated with great pomp across the country on Wednesday.

Mobius credited PM Modi for making high economic development and digitization of the economy possible.

The 89 -year -old veteran investor told the news agency IANS, “I am very happy congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday. He has been a wonderful boon for the Indian economy, he has accelerated high economic growth, a vibrant stock market and digitization of the economy.”

He thanked PM Modi for the work done for India.

Earlier, Mobius, who runs the Mobious EM Opportunity Fund for emerging markets (EMs), credited PM Modi’s strong policies and long -term approaches to join India’s top four largest economies.

Mobius said, “I am not surprised that India is rising in the ranking of the world’s top economies. The 140 crore population under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership is now eager to recover its proper place on the global map.”

Mobius told IANS that India also has the ability to become the second largest economy in the world.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi’s 75th birthday was celebrated with the introduction of nationwide programs and health, welfare and development programs.

This became a national moment of the festival, in which political and industry leaders around the world congratulated PM Modi.

On the occasion of his birthday, PM Modi went to Bhainsola village in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, where he laid the foundation stone of the first PM Mitra Park of India, which is a big step towards promoting the textile industry in the state.

During his visit, PM Modi also launched two major national initiatives, ‘healthy women, strong families’ and eighth national nutrition month, especially for women, children and adolescents.
