Which features will be included in WhatsApp Plus?
According to reports, WhatsApp has rolled out this subscription plan for a limited number of Android beta testers. It is being told that in this plan, special sticker packs, 18 different themes and many types of color schemes will be available, so that users will be able to customize the app as per their choice. Additionally, paid subscribers will be able to pin up to 20 chats and set different themes, ringtones and notification tones for specific conversations.
How much will WhatsApp Plus cost?
The company has not yet made any official announcement regarding the price of this plan in India. However, according to reports, during the testing phase, the company has fixed the price of this subscription plan at €2.49 (approximately ₹250) per month. When this feature is officially rolled out in India, its price may change. In short, WhatsApp is ready to provide many extra features to users for a monthly fee of around ₹250.
WhatsApp Plus will be completely optional
It is important to note that this subscription plan will be completely optional. This means that only those users who decide to purchase a subscription will be able to take advantage of the extra features. Conversely, users who decide not to subscribe will not receive these extra features. However, they will be able to continue using the app as they are now. Even with the launch of this plan, the basic features of the app—like chatting, audio and video calls, and file sharing—will remain free. Users will not have to pay any money for these features. This subscription plan is expected to be released for Android and iPhone devices within the next few weeks.
