Seoul, February 11 (IANS). Samsung Electronics on Wednesday said it will unveil its new flagship smartphone at the ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event in the US this month. The company has indicated that this new phone will come with better Artificial Intelligence (AI) features than before.
The ‘Galaxy Unpacked 2026’ event will be held in San Francisco on February 25. The company has titled its invitation as “The Next AI Phone Makes Your Life Easier”.
The company said in a release that the new Galaxy S series is coming, which is designed to make everyday tasks easier, increase people’s confidence and make Galaxy AI feel seamlessly integrated in the hand, Yonhap News Agency reports.
The company said that this will be the beginning of a new era of AI, where technology will become even more personal and friendly.
According to sources, the new smartphone could be Galaxy S26, in which a special inbuilt privacy feature will be provided, through which users will be able to hide the information visible on their screen from others. For this there will be no need to apply any additional screen guard or film.
The company said that with this new feature, users will be able to decide how much of their screen is visible. This will avoid the problem of ‘shoulder surfing’ i.e. viewing the screen by a person standing nearby. This feature will be made available in Galaxy phones very soon.
According to sources, this feature can be given especially in the Galaxy S26 Ultra model. The company said that users will be able to control the visibility of the screen by choosing different settings as per their need.
Samsung said that it took more than five years to develop this technology. The company studied people’s phone usage habits and tried to understand how people want to protect their personal information.
