In America, many Apple users have suddenly started receiving money in their bank accounts. This has happened due to the settlement in the privacy case related to Apple’s voice assistant, Siri. Apple has released $95 million (approximately ₹869 crore) for the settlement, and as a result, the money has started arriving in the bank accounts of many iPhone users in the US, and all eligible users will get it soon. Apple was accused of using Siri to record user conversations without permission. After this the matter went to court.

In 2019, a case was filed claiming that Siri was activating unintentionally. Many users had shared information about this on social media.
Who will get the money?
To be eligible, users must have at least one Siri-supported Apple device between September 17, 2014, and December 31, 2024.
Users also had to prove that Siri was activated without their consent during this period.
After this they had to complete the process given by the company and give the payment details.
