New Delhi, June 17 (IANS). American automaker Tesla on Wednesday expanded its presence by opening its 5th Experience Center in Hitech City, Hyderabad, where customers will be able to get a closer look at the new 2026 Model Y premium rear-wheel drive and Model YL.
Tesla’s statement said that people coming here will be able to have a detailed experience of these vehicles with the help of Tesla consultants. Customers will be exposed to the features of the cars through guided walkarounds and exclusive product experiences.
Tesla has also started delivery and after-sales services at Bolarum Industrial Area to provide better convenience to the customers in Telangana.
The company said that customers can get interactive information about Tesla’s design thinking, cutting-edge electric vehicle technology, safety features and performance capabilities in this experience center.
The company said that both models are available for booking on Tesla’s official website. Customers who book before June 30, 2026, will be given a free wall connector by the company.
Tesla is also providing home charging support across all states in India, providing customers with a convenient and easy ownership experience.
According to the company, both models have received the highest safety ratings from many of the world’s leading safety agencies. These include America’s NHTSA and IIHS, Europe’s Euro NCAP, Australia and New Zealand’s ANCAP and China’s C-IASI.
The recently launched 2026 Model Y Premium rear-wheel drive offers up to 2,138 liters of storage capacity, seating for five and power-folding seats.
This vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.9 seconds. Its WLTP range is up to 500 kilometers.
Its price in India has been kept at Rs 50.89 lakh. Customers can buy it with a down payment of Rs 6 lakh, while monthly EMIs will start from Rs 39,990. Its delivery will start from July 2026.
Model YL is an all-wheel drive SUV specifically designed keeping in mind the needs of families.
It gives a WLTP range of up to 681 kilometers on a single charge. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5 seconds.
Additionally, it has up to 2,539 liters of cargo space available, making it a suitable choice for long trips and large families.
