New Delhi, November 7 (IANS). Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Friday that the introduction of commemorative postage stamp and special coin by PM Modi is important in taking the echo of ‘Vande Mataram’ to the new generations. He said that the inspiration of our national anthem will remain immortal with a new web portal vandemataram150.in, commemorative coins and postage stamps.

Union Minister Scindia wrote in a post on social media platform

He further wrote, “On this occasion, PM Modi also released a special coin as a memento and also launched the web portal Vandemataram150.in, so that the echo of this great national song reaches new generations and its inspiration remains immortal.”

Meanwhile, for the convenience of the users, the Postal Service 2.0 app has recently been launched by the Indian Postal Department. Android users can download this app from Play Store.

This app has been introduced by the Indian Postal Department to make the services modern and fast. With the help of this app, customers can do many things sitting at home without going to the postal department. Apart from tracking, searching post office, facilities like postage calculator are being provided to the users with this app. Apart from Hindi, the Postal Service 2.0 app can be used in many other languages ​​like English, Dogri, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Urdu, Konkani, Maithali and Bengali. The app has been given the facility to be used in a total of 23 languages.

Earlier, while giving information from the Ministry of Communications, it was said that India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) under the Department of Posts has partnered with the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) of the Ministry of Labor and Employment to provide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) services to the pensioners at their door-step.
