Mumbai, May 19 (IANS). Global tech company Salesforce on Tuesday announced the launch of ‘Agentforce Voice’ in Hindi to help Indian companies deliver more natural, multilingual and inclusive AI-based customer experiences at scale.
Arundhati Bhattacharya, President and CEO of Salesforce South Asia, said that the next chapter of AI in India will not be written just in the language of coding, but it will be spoken in people’s own languages.
The company said during the ‘Agentforce World Tour Mumbai 2026’ event that this new feature has been designed to support natural Hindi and Hinglish conversations. This will enable companies to connect with customers in a more seamless manner and will increase the reach of AI in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
According to the company, the solution is built on the trusted AgentForce platform, which combines conversational AI, enterprise data and workflows with defined security measures and controls to ensure a secure, consistent and policy-compliant customer experience.
This announcement comes at a time when voice technology is becoming an increasingly important medium of digital participation across India, especially among non-English speaking people.
Arundhati Bhattacharya said, “The real impact of AI in a country as big as India is possible only when it is interactive, inclusive and tailored to local contexts. Voice is now becoming the most natural medium of digital engagement, especially in India, where millions of users are moving directly to mobile and voice-based experiences.”
“Through Hindi voice capabilities in Agentforce, we are helping companies create AI-based customer experiences that understand not just words but also cultural understanding, intent and trust,” he said.
Salesforce also announced the upcoming availability of ‘MuleSoft on Hyperforce’ in India, which will help organizations implement integrations, APIs, and AI-powered workflows on locally hosted infrastructure.
Arundhati Bhattacharya said, “India is a country of extraordinary ambition and legacy systems have long been considered a barrier to innovation. Cloud is changing this mindset as it gives companies a secure, scalable and flexible foundation from which they can connect data, applications and workflows without legacy limitations.”
He further said that by bringing MuleSoft on Hyperforce to India, we are giving companies, especially institutions in regulated sectors, the framework to confidently move to the cloud, adopt intelligent automation and create next-generation digital experiences on locally hosted infrastructure.
