New Delhi, November 18 (IANS). Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu on Tuesday said the transformative growth of our aviation sector is opening up Indian skies to the world, offering new opportunities for innovation, efficiency and sustainability.
Speaking at the inauguration of the 11th Global Aviation and Air Cargo Conclave of PHDCCI, Union Minister Naidu said that India is fast emerging as a global civil aviation gateway for passenger movement, cargo transshipment and MRO services.
“It was an honor for me to inaugurate PHDCCI’s 11th Global Aviation & Cargo Conclave at Yashobhoomi Convention Center and the 4th IndiaAirport Exhibition showcasing the latest innovations in the aviation sector,” the Union Minister wrote on social media platform X.
He further said that India with its geographical and demographic capabilities is fast emerging as a global civil aviation gateway for passenger movement, cargo transshipment and MRO services. I am confident that the exciting convergence of global stakeholders in Delhi will strengthen India’s leadership as a competitive civil aviation market.
The inaugural session of the 11th PHDCCI Global Aviation & Air Cargo Conclave – 2025 began at Yashobhoomi, Sector 25, Dwarka, Delhi. The theme of this event was ‘Gateway to the Skies: Elevating India’s Aviation, Air Cargo and MRO Ecosystem for Global Leadership’.
Organized by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), the event will run from 18-20 November in association with IndiaAirport-2025. In this event, industry leaders, policy makers and innovators will discuss strategies to strengthen India’s position in the global aviation landscape.
The session created an environment for transformative dialogues on sustainable growth, technological integration and infrastructure improvement and highlighted the critical role of the sector in economic development.
As the conclave progressed, participants participated in panel discussions and networking sessions as outlined in the event agenda.
In this program, a roadmap was also prepared to deal with challenges like supply chain disruption and environmental sustainability. The inaugural session concluded on a grand note with Yashobhoomi’s state-of-the-art facilities.
