New Delhi, June 19 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that today the world is looking at India with hope and enthusiasm. He said that the increasing global trust towards the country is clearly visible in the form of increasing cooperation and investment at the international level.
Sharing an article by MyGov India, the Prime Minister said that India is fully committed to contributing to building a better world and is also continuously strengthening its position on the global stage.
Sharing his views on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said that India is always ready to contribute to building a better planet and a better future.
PM Modi further said that the world’s growing confidence in India is the result of the efforts and aspirations of the country’s 140 crore citizens.
He said, “India is always ready to do whatever is possible in building a better world. Also, thanks to India’s 140 crore people, the world is looking at India with hope and enthusiasm. That is why the world is associating with India and investing in India.”
The Prime Minister’s comments came while sharing a post by MyGov India that highlighted India’s growing influence on the global stage over the last 12 years.
MyGov India said in its post that since 2014, India’s engagement with the world has entered a new and influential phase. India is now playing a role in steering the discussion on global issues, strengthening strategic partnerships and contributing more effectively to international priorities.
The post titled “India’s Global Momentum: A Shift the World Cannot Ignore” said India’s transformation is clearly visible in global forums and international partnerships, reflecting its growing role and influence in world affairs.
“India’s engagement with the world has become more influential since 2014. The country is now playing a role in shaping global discussions, strengthening partnerships and contributing to international priorities with greater visibility, credibility and trust,” the post said.
According to MyGov India, India’s growing global presence is evidence that the country has become one of the important economic, diplomatic and strategic powers in the world today.
