BSNL is preparing to launch its 5G service soon. The government telecom company can launch its 5G service in two big cities, Delhi and Mumbai, by the end of this year. The company recently launched simultaneous 4G services across India. BSNL’s 4G network is completely based on indigenous technology and is 5G ready. Therefore, the company will not need to install new towers during the 5G rollout. The company has also launched affordable plans that offer unlimited calling and data with long validity. The company had recently introduced a similar 72-day plan.
BSNL’s new plan
BSNL has launched this affordable 72-day plan for ₹485. In this plan, users get unlimited free calling to any number across India. Apart from this, users will also get many other benefits including free national roaming. Users will get 2GB high-speed data daily, i.e. a total of 144GB data.
Not only this, in this BSNL recharge plan, users also get 100 free SMS daily. The state-owned telecom company provides free access to BiTV to all its mobile users. Through this service, users can enjoy more than 300 live TV channels and OTT apps. The company also gives discount on recharging the number from its official website.
Since last year, the company has been working on installing 1,00,000 new 4G/5G towers in every telecom circle in the country, which has now been completed. Last month, on September 27, the company launched 4G service simultaneously across the country. With the launch of 4G, BSNL users will get better internet connectivity and relief from call disconnection problems.
