Union Minister Piyush Goyal told Singapore -based investors ‘India’ gives immense opportunities in various fields

New Delhi, 4 October (IANS). Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said on Saturday that India provides immense opportunities for investors in Singapore in various fields.

While giving information on the social media platform X, Union Minister Goyal said that he addressed the ‘India-Singapore@60: 60: 60: Partnership for Growth and Innovation’ with Business Sessions in Singapore, along with Minister of State for Forened Affairs and Industry, Gun Sio Huang, Gun Sio Huang and highlighted better support and beet opportunities between the two countries.

Union Minister Goyal also emphasized on strengthening India-Singapore trade and investment relations for more balanced, intellectual and Future-Reddy Economic Partnership.

He said, “We are considering working together to speed up the various initiatives launched by India-Singapore Business Roundable.”

Union Minister Goyal said, “There is rapid economic growth in India, with this I urge you all to look at the opportunities provided by India.”

The Commerce Minister also held a meeting with Sembacorp Group President and CEO Kim Yin Wong. He discussed India’s achievements in ambitious goals about renewable energy.

Earlier on Friday, according to an official statement, Union Minister Goyal discussed strengthening trade and investment relations with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, increasing cooperation in innovation and digital connectivity and the discovery of new opportunities in sustainable development between India and Singapore.

Union Minister Goyal is on a three -day official visit to Singapore to strengthen bilateral economic and business relations between the two India and Singapore.

The journey throws light on India’s strong growth path, commitment to investment-based reforms and manufacturing, infrastructure, financial services and vast opportunities available to global participants in the Green Economy.

A major attraction of the trip was a business roundtable on foreign direct investment in the manufacturing sector, which was attended by Micham, Eurochem, German Chamber of Industry and Commerce and other business leaders.
