Meta is working on new subscription plans for its social media and messaging platforms. Recently, the company has started testing paid plans like Facebook Plus, Instagram Plus and WhatsApp Plus. Now, a new report claims that ‘Meta One’ subscription support may soon be added to WhatsApp, which will allow users to use multiple premium features of Meta through a single plan.
According to the report, hints related to Meta One have been found in Android beta version 2.26.23.10 of WhatsApp. This suggests that users will finally be able to purchase and manage Meta One plans directly inside the WhatsApp app. The company has not yet officially announced this feature. Leaked information suggests that two Meta One plans may be launched: Meta One Plus and Meta One Premium. Meta One Plus can cost around €6.99 (about ₹700) per month. It is expected that along with WhatsApp Plus features, better image and video generation tools will also be available in this plan.
What could be the price?
Whereas, the price of Meta One Premium is reported to be around €20.99 (about ₹2,200) per month. In addition to all the features of Meta One Plus, this plan can offer higher AI limits, advanced AI logic, and better image and video generation capabilities. Some users may also be given a free trial of one month.
The report also states that under WhatsApp Plus, users can get features like new app themes, custom ringtones, more pinned chats, better list customization and premium stickers. Additionally, more advanced uses of Meta AI may also be possible. However, all this information is currently based on leaks and beta versions. Meta has not yet confirmed the launch dates or official prices of these plans. But, if this feature is launched, users of WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram will be able to get many premium benefits through a single subscription.
