If you use WhatsApp, many of your tasks are going to be easier. The company has announced several updates that will make it even easier to use. Users will also have more personalization options. Now live and motion photos can be shared through WhatsApp. Apart from this, users will also be able to make custom themes and backgrounds using AI. Let’s know what updates have brought for their users.
Live photo sharing
Android users will now be able to share motion pictures, and iPhone users will be able to share live photos. Till now this option was not available, due to which users were able to send only ordinary photos.
Create theme and background from AI
Whatsapp already has chat themes, but now users will be able to create a custom theme. Users can create any theme of their choice, whether it is minimal, artistic or playful. Similarly, backgrounds for video calls and chats will also be made using AI. Significantly, this facility is being launched in a phased manner, so it may take some time to be available to all users.
In-app document scanning
Android users will now have the option to scan documents inside WhatsApp. After scanning, they can crop, save or send the document inside the app itself. This feature was already available to iOS users, and now it will also be available on Android.
Group will be easier to find
Sometimes, joining several groups makes it difficult to find a group for chatting. Users have to scroll into the search bar constantly to find it. A new feature will solve this problem. Users will just have to type the name of a contact in the search bar, with all those groups displaying that contact.
