To avail this facility, users can make UPI payments through *99# USSD service from both keypad phones or smartphones. The only condition is that the mobile number from which you are dialing *99# should be linked to your bank account. You will also have to remember your UPI PIN, because without it no payment can be made.
What to do after dialing *99#?
If your phone does not have internet, go to your phone’s dial pad and dial *99#.
First of all, select your language on the screen.
Then enter your bank name or first 4 digits of your IFSC code.
After selecting your bank, read the instructions shown on the screen carefully.
Then choose the send money option and finally enter your UPI PIN to complete the payment.
