This film reminds us of IAS Pooja Khedkar's actions which unfold like the layers of an onion

Seeing the story of IAS Pooja Khedkar reminds me of the story of a film called Shrikant. The story of this film was released about two months ago. Story Srikant told But it is. Whatever is said in general conversation to a visually challenged person, he is given many other facilities like reservation in the government system due to his disability. But Shrikant does not want any separate facility. He wants equal opportunity. He considers even the honor given in the special category as an insult. He refuses to accept such honor. Whereas it is being said about Pooja that she got the job by preparing the disability document in a wrong way. Now one after the other more things are coming to light about Pooja.

The contradiction between reality and the events in the film comes across as an irony. There is no doubt that if nature has made someone physically weak or physically inferior to any normal person, then he should get help in government jobs. This is a fundamental requirement of the principle of equality. But if a person takes advantage of this or tries to do so on the basis of wrong documents, then it is definitely very bad.

Anyway, the story of the film is such that due to Srikant being blind from birth, the neighbours even advised to kill him at birth. Despite not having eyes, Srikant dreams big. President APJ Abdul Kalam becomes the inspiration for this young man from Andhra Pradesh. He once gets a chance to meet Dr. Kalam and he too is impressed by the courage of this young man. Then he returns to the country after studying at MIT in America. Here he established an industry worth Rs 500 crore and along with providing employment, also helps the disabled. Srikant has got complete success due to his dedication. He took his weakness as a challenge and saw the light of success from it.

Actor Rajkumar Rao has given a wonderful performance in the film. He has portrayed a person who is unable to see on screen in such a way that it does not seem that he is acting. The way a blind person repeatedly moves his eyes in different ways, Rajkumar Rao never let it weaken. The director of the film is Tushar Hiranandani. He has been very successful in keeping the entire film captivating. Jameel Khan has played the role of President Dr. Kalam in the film. Jameel Khan, who became famous with Gullak, has copied Dr. Kalam’s expressions in such a way that it is worth watching. The dress designer has also done a wonderful job because Dr. Kalam’s disguise looks absolutely real. Since many people have seen and heard Dr. Kalam on TV, copying his dress and design was a more challenging task. In which the designer has been successful. Actress Jyotika and Sharad Kelkar have also been completely successful in playing their roles as they are.

The most important thing in the whole film is the story. When an attempt is made to make a biopic dramatic, it only harms the film. Even a few technical weaknesses remain interesting because the story is emotional and inspiring. The most important thing is a small speech by Srikant. He gave this speech when he was invited for a special award after getting a place in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 and success in the industry. In his speech itself, Srikant makes it clear that even if it is not visible to the eyes, dreams can be seen. And then those dreams can also be fulfilled. Everyone should help the disabled in this way.
