Possibility of rain in many states.

New Delhi: The month of Sawan has started from today. With the beginning of Sawan, rain is also being predicted in most of the states across the country. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in many states from UP to Maharashtra and from Delhi to Goa. On one hand, while the people of Delhi-NCR are going to get relief from the humid heat due to rain, on the other hand, the life of the people has been disrupted due to rain in many districts of Maharashtra for many days. Relief from heat in Delhi-NCR

First of all, talking about the country’s capital Delhi, the series of humid heat has been continuing here for the last several days. However, the Meteorological Department has given relief news for the people of NCR including Delhi. IMD has issued a yellow alert for Delhi-NCR. In such a situation, there is a possibility of rain in many areas here. Due to rain, the people of Delhi-NCR are definitely going to get relief from the humid heat. IMD has issued a week’s weather alert for Delhi, according to which rain is expected on 22 and 23 July.

Rain in many districts of UP

Talking about Uttar Pradesh, rain has been predicted in many districts here too. Today, on the first day of Sawan, the entire Uttar Pradesh is going to be drenched with rain showers from east to west. According to IMD, heavy to very heavy rains may occur in Bareilly, Pilibhit and its surrounding areas today. Apart from this, heavy rains have also been predicted in Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kasganj and Etah districts. Heavy rains have been predicted in Agra, Firozabad, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Mirzapur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur and Hardoi.

Heavy rain from Mumbai to Nagpur

Heavy rains have been falling in many districts of Maharashtra for the past several days. Meanwhile, schools have been closed in many districts. Talking about Mumbai, which is called the economic capital, more than 100 mm of rain fell in the city and its suburbs till Sunday evening, which led to waterlogging. Due to rain, the route of many flights had to be changed. Apart from this, railway services were also affected. A total of 36 flights were also canceled at Mumbai airport amid rain. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has asked the officials to remain on ‘high alert’ in view of heavy rains in many parts of Maharashtra.

Rain alert in other states of the country

Apart from this, talking about other states, the Meteorological Department in Goa has issued an orange alert for the next four days, in which heavy rains have been predicted in two districts of the coastal state, where heavy rains occurred on Sunday. Light to moderate rains are also expected throughout the day in Chhattisgarh today. In Jharkhand too, it may rain in other districts including Ranchi today. Rain is expected here for a week. Apart from this, very heavy rains may also occur in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh today. At the same time, rain may occur in many parts of other states of North India including Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana.
