Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) president Rakesh Kumar Tiwari has faced serious allegations of molestation and attempt to rape. The accused woman is a director of a company. She alleges that she had gone to a five-star hotel in Delhi to negotiate the payment of the company and the BCA president tried to rape her.
On the complaint of the girl, the Sansad Marg police station in New Delhi has registered a case. New Delhi District DCP Googoloth Amrutha said that the case was registered on March 7. A team has been constituted for the investigation. The investigation continues.
According to the FIR, the company of a 30-year-old girl resident of Gurugram is engaged in the work of sports management, event organization and advertisement. The girl gave a complaint to the police that in March 2021, the Bihar Cricket Association had organized T20 league tournaments.
The work of advertising was given to the company of the girl, but after the completion of the work, the BCA stopped the payment. Meanwhile, the girl reached a five-star hotel on July 12, 2021, at the behest of an expert, to meet Bihar Cricket Association President Rakesh Kumar Tiwari, where the two started talking about the company’s payment.
It is alleged that taking advantage of the opportunity, he started forcing the girl. On resisting, he became aggressive and forcibly grabbed and started molesting. Somehow the girl saved herself from his clutches and ran away after pushing the accused.
Although initially the girl did not tell anything about this incident to anyone due to the fear of the society, but she started getting worried thinking about this. Eventually she decided that she would complain about this to the police. After this, the girl gave a complaint to the Parliament Street Police Station. Taking action on this, on March 7, the police registered a case and started investigation.
