The operation to rescue the people trapped after the ropeway accident in Deoghar, Jharkhand has ended. During this difficult and long operation that lasted for 40 hours, three people also died painfully. This incident was such that due to which people’s breath got stuck and they were stuck between life and death. Out of the three people who died during this operation, two people had fallen from a height of about 1,500 feet during the rescue operation itself. In fact, this accident took place in Trikoot of Deoghar at 5 pm on Sunday, when two cable cars collided on the ropeway. Due to this, the operation of the ropeway came to a complete halt and 70 people got trapped.
After the accident, efforts were made to evacuate people and in the end, Indian Air Force aircraft were also deployed in this rescue operation. The campaign lasted till noon on Tuesday. Even today about 12 people were saved under this campaign. The magnitude of this accident can be understood from the fact that the people trapped on the hill were given food and drink through drones. Apart from this, the rescue operation had to be stopped on Monday night. During the entire operation, about three people were killed, out of which one person was from Bengal, who had fallen down during the rescue from the helicopter.
Woman fell 1,500 feet during rescue, dies
Apart from this, on Tuesday also a woman fell down during the rescue. She was being rescued by a helicopter, but she lost her balance and fell 1,500 feet. Many people have also been injured in this incident. Deoghar District Collector Manjunath said that the injured have been sent to Deoghar Sadar Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the Jharkhand High Court has also taken cognizance of the Deoghar ropeway accident. The court has also ordered an inquiry into the matter and asked to submit the report by April 26.

Let us inform that PM Narendra Modi was also keeping an eye on this accident. He had also taken information about this matter from Home Minister Amit Shah. After the ropeway accident, the government had deployed ITBP personnel and the Indian Air Force to rescue the stranded people. Apart from this, the National Disaster Response Force was also deployed in it.
