The chair of Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan seems to be shaking and in the meantime the allies of his party Tehreek-e-Insaf are also leaving. Pakistan Muslim League (Q) has struck a deal with the opposition party PML-Nawaz. Both the parties believe that Imran Khan will have to resign from the post within the next one week and after that a new government will be formed. People aware of the whole matter say that after Imran Khan, a deal has been done to make Nawaz Sharif’s younger brother Shahbaz Sharif as PM. Apart from this, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islama, a staunch opponent of Imran Khan, can be made the new President in place of Arif Alvi.
Apart from this, the post of chairman may go to Pakistan Peoples Party leader Yusuf Raza Gilani. Let us inform that the opposition parties in Pakistan have decided to present a no-confidence motion against Imran Khan in Parliament at 4 pm today. Apart from this, a no-confidence motion has been brought against Punjab CM Usman Buzdar, who is the leader of Imran Khan’s party. In his place, the post of CM is set to be given to Chaudhary Parvez Elahi, who is currently the speaker of the Punjab Assembly. A total of 126 MLAs have moved a no-confidence motion in the Punjab Legislative Assembly, but to remove the CM from the post, it is necessary that at least 186 votes are in its favor.
There are total 371 seats in the Punjab Legislative Assembly. Imran Khan’s party has a total of 183 seats in the state, while the PML-Q has 165 seats, while the PML-N has 10 and the PPP 7 seats. Apart from this, there is one MLA of Pakistan Rah-e-Haq Party and 5 independent members. Punjab CM Usman Buzdar is considered very close to Imran Khan. In such a situation, his removal from power will be a big blow for Imran Khan, who himself is close to losing power. No-confidence motion will come against Imran Khan at 4 pm today and after the debate on it, voting will be done within three days.
